Bang Chan was born in Seoul, South Korea on October 3, 1997 (at the age of 24; as of 2021). Christopher Bang is the real name of Bang Chan. He was a student at Newtown High School of the Arts. The trio “3RACHA” was founded in late 2016 in Seoul, South Korea, and in January 2017, Chan (CB97) and other trainees Han Jisung (J.ONE) and Seo Changbin (SPEAR B) published their debut untitled Mixtape on SoundCloud under the moniker “J:/2017/mixtape.” There were seven tunes on the mixtape. They garnered rapid acclaim from fans for their skill in producing and writing music on a professional level.
